Not many times around you get opportunity to own a truck like this one. it is still a 50 year old piece of American History, and its performance, looks, and condition are not perfect/mint.
Body: Solid, and from what I can tell it has all original panels and sheet metal. This is not a $30K Ground Off Restorations but it is super clean. It is not mint and you will find little imperfections in the nooks and crannies (almost not even noticeable).
Paint: Brand New, painted in November. A lot of work and hours were spent preparing to get it in this condition. Everyone who has seen it at shows has told it looks awesome. It does have some minor nicks here and there but they can be touched up. It is not a $10K paint-job, but it is a pretty good one as you can see on the pictures. Bumpers and wheels both have the most imperfections on the paint job. Also it does have a slim fine line scratch on the passenger door, but not bad as seen on the pictures.
Restoration: Not a frame-off
Interior: Brand New interior. Padded show quality floor carpet. It has a new Suede/ Leatherette Bench Seat done by Ricky’s. Dash is in great condition, with glove box in great condition. Original Steering wheel is very solid and it good condition but it does have some cracks. (Note: Included is a brand new Gas Pedal).
Floor: It has original floors with patch work here and there but not they are still in pretty good condition.
Bumper: Original Front bumpers are in Great condition painted to match. Some chips and veins as it is Original. No rear bumper.
Motor: From the research I’ve done, It has an Original 327 V8. It has NO high-performance b/s. Just straight up Original in perfect running condition. My Master Mechanic tuned it to perfection and made it as reliable as possible with a brand new Tune-Up. Works perfect and has absolutely no issues.
Exhaust: Brand New Exhaust ending on Dump Tips at the end of the Cab.
Cooling System: Era correct radiator making the truck run at about 180 in the hot Florida days.
Carburetor: Edelbrock in perfect has absolutely no current issues and has no problems whatsoever and idles perfectly.
Transmission: Original 3 speed on the tree. Shift’s smooth, but Shifting requires patience at 1st until you get to know it. Take it slow at first to learn the gears and you’ll have no problem shifting as I do, but if you want it perfect you might want to replace the linkage as it is very loose and may get stuck at times. Clutch is perfect and it has plenty of life still left.
Fuel System: Rust Free fuel tank with almost no of fuel gasses inside the cab. All lines are solid and have 0 leaks.
Suspension: Done by previous owner. Full Air-ride suspension on all 4 corners with a C-notch and 1 of a kind set-up. 2 VAir Compressors filling up to 170 PSI takes about 4 minutes. Old Skool 12 switch remote with a long cord. Rear fenders can both touched the ground.
Wheels & Tires: Brand New Tires! Wheels are original 6 lug steel wheels painted to match.
Brakes: Brand New Master Cylinder. Drum Brakes all-around with new pads and recently re-surfaced. Emergency Brake is not operating.
Electrical: The following items work with no issues: headlights (low & high beams), Brake lights, Turn Signals, Wipers, Inside Dome light, All must new Duralast Battery. Original Gauge Cluster does not work.
Heater: Works good, but I never use it because of an average 90+ degrees in South Florida.
Glass: All glass is perfect with no cracks, both door windows roll up & down great. Triangle Window on both sides works great also
